We aim to provide our patients with tailored and personalised care, so we book our appointments with enough time to cover their needs. For gynaecology office procedures, we allow for a longer appointment time.
Appointments can be scheduled during our regular office hours, at one of our two specialist clinics.
When a patient books in for their appointment, we will provide them with all the necessary instructions and information beforehand, so they know what to expect from their consultation. So please, encourage your patients to read this prior to their appointment.
When referring your patients for gynaecology services, please provide us with the procedure item number and the patient’s informed financial consent.
We then provide a surgery date for your patient, and confirm with them closer to the day regarding their admission time, fasting, time, anaesthetist, and hospital details.
Post-operative procedures will be booked by our Surgical Nurse.
Dr Aviva Nathan takes part in the emergency on-call roster at Cabrini Hospital and Holmesglen Private Hospital for gynaecological emergencies. This includes situations such as ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cyst rupture, heavy menstrual bleeding, Bartholin’s abscess, and other inpatient consultation by referral.
If your patient needs an urgent review, please contact our Medical Secretary on 0409 808 700, or fax the referral to (03) 9923 6879 and we’ll accommodate this request.

You can call us on 9527 9000 to book in for your pregnancy. We’ll ask you for the date of your last menstrual period and calculate your estimated due date. We’ll then send through your booking to either Cabrini or Waverley Private Hospitals, whichever is best for you.
If you haven't seen your GP yet, it’s a good idea to do so and confirm your pregnancy. This allows you to claim back your Medicare rebate.
Then, we can book your first antenatal appointment to see Dr Nathan at 8-10 weeks. We look forward to meeting you.
For pregnancy and delivery, Dr Nathan is accredited to deliver babies at Cabrini and Waverley Private Hospitals.
For gynaecology procedures Dr Nathan operates at Masada Hospital and Holmesglen Private Hospital as well.
Our fees cover your entire pregnancy care, including all antenatal visits, Dr Nathan's on-call availability, midwife appointments, hospital visits, any extra appointments, delivery, and postnatal care up to 6 weeks after the birth.
Our pregnancy management fee is divided into two payments at 20 weeks and 28 weeks. Our reception team will discuss this with you over the phone when you book in for your appointment.
If you’re self funded, aren’t eligible for Medicare, or have an overseas health fund, give us a call or send us an email, and we can email the fee schedule to you.
